In 2000 there were 105 million households in the United States.  Amazon just announced their acquisition of diapers.com for $540 million.  So $5.14/household.  Or we can do the arithmetic in a slightly different way.  The 6.9% of the population (281MM) under 5 years old is about 19.4MM; or $27.8/kid.
