Usually the pot with the Brugmansia in it spends the winter in the basement attempting to steal a little light from the shelves of grow lamps; but this year we were too lazy to carry it into the basement and it ended up in a corner of the living room where it put on a few leaves and leaned toward the winter light thru the window. Then after the solstice it kept putting on more leaves and then it decided to bud and today it bloomed! It is now stinking up the whole house with a delightful fragrance in a desperate attempt to call out to it’s polinator. I hope he doesn’t reply.
